Bob Harris, a noted travel
writer and author, originally reviewed the San Ysidro Ranch for the
Forbes Traveler 400. He describes the grounds as “breathtaking” with
"eye-popping gardens" and winding trails that are " stunning to walk
around." Fortunately, the Ranch narrowly escaped damage in the fires
that swept through the area in 2008.
